Musician - Bulldog Conductor
Our French bulldog automaton takes on the role of conductor (or violinist on request) within our Renaissance & Baroque chamber music orchestra.
With his agile and distinguished gestures, he coordinates the members of the orchestra with precision and firmness. His entire torso makes a regular movement from left to right as his right arm gracefully folds to indicate the tempo. With his left hand, our maestro organizes the musical nuances that his troupe must adopt, while with his right hand, in the manner of an enthusiastic and romantic caesura, he sets the rhythm and arranges the measure.
What a bright and striking appearance our gloved French bulldog with a high collar has, in his satin stage costume adorned with repeated motifs of iridescent lilies and multiple golden and braided ornaments!
Beneath his rough and stocky appearance, our bulldog is nonetheless refined, a connoisseur of the finest silks and lace threaded with ribbon. His great passion for propriety and the arts of his time, combined with his pronounced taste for Venetian fashion frivolities, make our accomplished conductor a charming whimsical dreamer.
